Date: May 24, 2016

On December 8, 2011, Tiernan & Patrylo broke ground on Universal Environmental Services’ state-of-the-art used oil re-refinery in Peachtree City, Georgia. In prior preparation, T&P performed the civil site design, demolition and site work. Through a competitive bid process, T&P was selected to perform all concrete construction (tank farm foundations, pipe rack foundations, site access driveways, refining tower and containment foundation, pump pads, and boiler foundation) and all structural steel fabrication and erection. The concrete work included over 400 tons of reinforcing steel and 5,700 cubic yards of concrete. The structural steel fabrication included the process tower, the pipe racks, the boiler and compressor buildings, rail access platforms, tanker access platforms as well as all access ladders and access stairways. All steel was fabricated, galvanized and erected by T&P. Structural steel quantity was in excess of 1,000 tons.
